SPATZ 'Legalz GLO' UCI Legal Race Overshoes with High Viz Reflective Detailing #LGLZGLO

First up, these really do work at keeping your feet nice and warm and dry in foul conditions. I've used them for my commute in pretty wet conditions and my feet have been fine. However, I would say that they are not the most robust of shoe covers I've used. After just over a year, so one full Winter season, they are showing real signs of wear and a hole has developed at the back of the heel - probably not the worst place for a hole on shoe covers, but still. I'll probably try and get another Winter out of them but may need to invest in something more robust.
So I've knocked a star off - but if you are after warm feet, these really do deliver. I wore these with thick socks in the recent -8 °C cold snap in January (added toe covers under the Spatz) and my feet were nice and warm (fingers were unhappy though).

Great overshoes!

A couple of weeks ago I completed the Lakes and Dales Loop in Cumbria in near-biblical conditions. Thankfully, I had my Spatz overshoes to protect my feet and shoes. Inevitably some water did eventually creep in, but with full days in the saddle in constant torrential wind and rain this could only be expected. That said, these overshoes kept out the vast majority of the rain and my feet were only damp as opposed to absolutely drenched - like the rest of me. My feet also remained warm, which was a godsend. Spatz 1 - Cumbria 0! Rock solid bit of kit 👌

Bought myself a pair of these mid-December in prep for a Festive 500 attempt - so glad I did as they’ve been superb in the wet and wind.

Subtlety better in almost every way to the standard overshoes we’ve all used before these really are game changing. Warm toes, no ingress from the bottom of the shoe, and steaming hot feet/ankles when they come off.

Used down to 2c over normal summer shoes with merino socks, I didn’t think about my feet on 4/5 hour rides - truly a new experience.

Having used them now for a couple of weeks and over 600km I feel like my winter gear collection is complete!

First ride out in the Spatz Legalz at weekend everyone else was complaining about cold feet!! Conditions were -2 degrees at the start and a cold wind with some sleet but my feet were toasty. Great service when i ordered a size too small, no problem and a new pair appeared by return couldn't be happier with service or the product.
