The Spatz FASTA LITE is brand new for 2024/5 and features an extremely supple and stretchy fabric to offer ease of fit and a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette. They are designed to be very easy to get on and take off.

In 2019, we designed the Spatz ‚Legalz‚ Overshoe for riders who compete in races (where the aero advantages of a full length Spatz overshoe are banned). In 2021 we updated this mid-shin design and brought you the Legalz Pro and Glo models, updated again in 2023/24 with the original FASTA. For 24/25, we have not released an updated design; we have ripped up the drawings and created a whole new overshoe category: The Spatz FASTA LITE..

The FASTA LITE was developed from countless hours in the saddle and in collaboration with our partner athletes; the Olympic Gold Medal winning Brownlee Brothers and WorldTour team Alpecin Deceuninck. Each panel has been redesigned and new materials have been specified to do their job beautifully. The FASTA LITE overshoes are tougher, sleeker, more durable and more aerodynamic than any overshoe we have seen.

Focuses for the new design include; aerodynamics, warmth, resilience, toughness and suppleness. As such, the toe, foot and ankle area is supple yet tough lycra covered neoprene and the leg area is super supple and stretchy 1mm neoprene to hug the ankles like a second skin. The FASTA LITE are extremely easy to put on and take off and are very resistant to nicks and cuts. There are NO fastenings on the FASTA LITE overshoes. Simply pull the overshoe up your leg, put your cycling shoe on and then fold the toe area of the FASTA LITE down over your shoes.

The leg area is designed to form a seamless transition between your leg and the overshoe. 15cm silicone seals run vertically down the leg to form a supple union with your skin or leg warmers/tights. The junction of tights / leg warmers and overshoes is so sleek that it is a challenge to see where the overshoes end and the leg warmers begin...

As before, the entire bottom opening of the FASTA LITE is lined with 2x silicone aqua seals to minimise water ingress and hold the overshoe solid against your cycling shoes.

We are confident in saying that if you require an overshoe for racing / training (or simply riding) in bad weather (and you do not require a knee length overshoe), the new Spatz FASTA LITE is the best overshoe on the market. It is an absolute pleasure to use. Other brands have tried to copy our designs but we foresee this overshoe (along with the Pro Stealth) being at least 2 years ahead of any other overshoe brands with regard to design, materials, fit and function.
