Tested for months in the cold, wet Yorkshire Dales, Spatz Hotsokz have been engineered to keep you warm, regardless of the conditions.
Developed specifically for cycling, we have added targeted merino wool panels and a semi-compression composition. The perfect blend of warmth and wicking, woven into a beautifully comfortable sock.
Tuned panel thickness and yarn choice allow us to dial-in maximum warmth with minimum bulk. Hotsokz fit easily into the slimmest racing shoes and deliver a warmth that belies their thickness and weight.
Akin to our overshoes, the length of the Hotsokz insulates the calf and shin muscles and blood vessels, keeping your feet comfortable and warm no matter how far you ride. Focus on the riding, not the weather.
Developed to use in conjunction with our overshoes, Hotsokz offer a close fit and stay snugly in place for all day comfort.
Composition: 70% acrylic, 30% merino wool.
Please note: Merino wool is a natural fibre and may bobble a little after use, especially if machine washed. This is not a product fault, it is merely a trait of wool blends. Hotsokz are designed to last and last.
I hoped they would shrink a little in the wash but four 30-degree washes deep and they are still long enough to sit awkwardly behind the knee.

So far only worn when cycling on Zwift in a very cold shed and they certainly made a difference! Looking forward to wearing them outside :-)

Magnificent socks
Can you get excited over a pair of socks. I mean their socks aren’t they. I’ve got dozens of pairs. But these Spatz long socks are absolutely lovely things. Warm with no huge thickness or weight. Superb in summer shoes under Spatz overshoes and the level of details is outstanding. Should have got two pairs.

Hotsokz!.. tall and warm for winter
I thought I’d give these a try after suffering from cold feet through multiple winters on my road bike.. not only did they keep my feet warmer than normal but all up my calves… great winter riding product!
